Tedious comes out best at the weights but disappointed at Wolverhampton in a similarly competitive contest that went the way of Second Encore with Saltergate in fourth. She could be vulnerable again but the winner of that race is entitled to go well although preference is for CHEVISE who can make the most of her high draw at a track that she runs well. The slight concern is the drop back to the minimum but she's shown plenty of zest over six and will hopefully have the speed to cope with this sharper test. Ajaafa also drops in trip and is likely to have plenty of use made of him as he steps back in grade but there are plenty of alternatives in an open race where the likes of Johnny Hancocks (for last year's winning yard) and Coconut Ice should play a part.
