Verdict

The well handicapped Toms Laughter may well attract support with Paul Hanagan in the plate but his hopes appear to rest on a visor having the desired affect although he wasn't beaten too far on his penultimate start. The habitually slow-starting Piscean has each-way claims on his return to racing on artificial surfaces whilst Living It Large ran well here last time and won't be inconvenienced by the drop back to the minimum. Sir Geoffrey and Sutton Veny may provide some competition for the lead which could set the race up nicely for Anne Of Kiev and Fair Passion but a chance is taken with TOMINTOUL SINGER returning to form. She has struggled in the main this season but is now 13lbs lower than when fourth in a Listed race won by Abbaye heroine Gilt Edge Girl, drops in grade and she was far from disgraced on her debut on this surface in July.
