Verdict

Invincible Cave, a winning point-to-pointer and bumper, ran his best race over hurdles when tackling this trip at Cork though that was on soft ground. He has a penalty to carry as has The Red Menace for his bumper victories, though the latter has looked as though stepping up to this trip would suit. Castle North has shown potential in bumpers and will find this much more suitable though the form pick is NARCISSISTIC. Noel Meade's charge looked a certain future winner when narrowly beaten by Getaway John over 2m7f on good ground at Fairyhouse before finding the minimum trip much too short at Down Royal. Baily Gorse has shown glimpses of ability and looks best of the remainder.
