In depth

Verdict

MRS LOVETT won over the course and distance on fast ground in November and followed up in a Fairyhouse handicap a few days later. She has found Listed company and softer conditions against her in her last two races and this is more her class and ground. Dawn Shadow, a Listed winner over hurdles, looked a nice prospect for chasing when scoring at Galway and didn't have much luck in her next two starts over fences, finishing lame at Cork in December before a confidence-booster over hurdles on New Year's Eve. Oh Me Oh My was a very fortunate winner at Gowran in October but hasn't run too badly in Grade 3 and 2 contests subsequently while Nellie Pledge landed a minor handicap over 3m at Navan last month so stamina is her strong point.
