In depth

Verdict

Moon Over Mandalay started long odds-on when only third in a Clonmel bumper on his debut in November but the first two have done very well subsequently and Willie Mullins' charge is likely to do much better. Six Stone Ned has shown enough potential to suggest he'll be winning soon but this can go to PIPER HILL. Tommy Stack's son of Hawk Wing made a very promising start to his carer at Leopardstown where he finished a close fourth to Jezki. He was up with the pace for most of the way that day before fading and today's quicker ground should enable him to last out. King Of Firth and Scenic Route are both likely to have benefited from their opening runs and look a threat.
