        Verdict

        Whozthecat won this last year off a higher mark and may bounce back while Bapak Asmara landed a double over 5f last year, though remains 8lb higher. Adam's Ale won over the minimum trip in soft ground at Haydock last time and it was also testing going when Pomme De Terre won over track and trip back in April. PEA SHOOTER arrives in good form having won at Wetherby before a second at Musselburgh recently so Brian Ellison’s charge may prove good enough. Duke Cosimo won a higher grade sprint at Ripon in June so warrants respect but remains 5lb higher.
