Verdict
EHTIRAAS was eased right down when outclassed in the St James’s Palace Stakes at Ascot. But, rated 87, he should be up to winning at this level and has plenty in hand on these terms with Frankster, who ran poorly here last time. Southern Strife and Percy Verence will need a big step forward to match the selection so a newcomer may prove a bigger threat. Of those, Kharbetation is a half-brother to the Group 2 winner Breton Rock and preferred to both Westward Ho and Come Back King.
