In depth

Verdict

Comino arrives in poor form but that was also the case last year when he made all off today’s mark. He was well behind Slemy at Musselburgh last time and the latter has since been well beaten at Doncaster along with Bertiewhittle. George Cinq won a classified race at Town Moor last time when Sakhee's Return was well beaten but MUNTADAB makes most appeal in this. He was beaten only a head at York last week, with Pumaflor and Alejandro behind, and should go close again with a similar effort. He's No Saint is preferred to stablemate Steel Train with an apprentice taking 7lb off his back on only his third start of the year.
