Carnival Zain ended a long losing run with a victory over 7f at Catterick and is only 2lb higher. Under Fox recorded is best form on soft ground last year and Mac Ailey would also prefer some cut but Lordman posted a better effort at Wolverhampton on his handicap debut while Captain Claret will appreciate the return to a mile, as will SWEET MADNESS. The latter completed a double over today’s shorter trip at the end of last year and will be sharper for a recent comeback run over 1m2f.
