In depth

Verdict

Kevin Ryan is making a concerted effort to win this with three runners at the top end of the weights. Green Manalishi is a frustrating sort nowadays, while Le Toreador has a couple of lengths to make up with stablemate OLDJOESAID on latest running at Musselburgh. The latter was sent off favourite for that race but found one too good in Mon Brav and is fancied to make amends here. Dandy Nicholls won this in 2007 and 2009 and relies on the veteran Indian Trail today, while Mey Blossom and Bosun Breese are others to consider in a wide-open sprint.
