Verdict

Reel Buddy Star may well figure on his reappearance but his last four wins have been over a mile. Kevin Ryan has won this race twice in recent years but with four-year-olds and Everymanforhimself is far more exposed. Karaka Jack hails from last year's winning yard and cannot be ignored after a good effort over 6f last time, while Summer Dancer has claims with a recent run under his belt. ILLUSTRIOUS PRINCE will also have come on for his first start for new connections at Ripon earlier this month. He won twice for Jeremy Noseda last season and gets the vote back on a winning mark here with Neil Farley's claim taken into consideration.
