In depth

Verdict

A wide open handicap rounds off the card and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Anfield Dream, Danzili Bay and Rancho Cucamonga and the narrow vote is given to the last named. The selection was slightly disappointing last time out but prior to that had won in good style. This faster surface is sure to suit her better and from what looks a good draw she will be hard to beat. Anfield Dream rates the main danger as he was a fair second behind Judd Street last time out doing all his best work at the finish. The return to this longer trip is in his favour and he will not be far away. Danzili Bay is another that could go well as he is taking a big drop in class and with his yard continuing in good form he has definite place claims despite top weight. Bold Haze won in game fashion last time out but he has a penalty for that win and he will need to have improved again if he is to win off this revised mark. Of the remainder Tagula Bay has dropped to a handy mark and could go well at a price but for the winner we return to Rancho Cucamonga.
