      Verdict

      A race where cases can be made for all of the participants and MR MCLAREN gets our recommendation. David O'Meara's gelding stayed on stoutly at Beverley last time out and though he isn't the most straightforward of individuals, he remains open to improvement. Zain Zone has had the misfortune of running into a progressive sort on his last two starts and the 7f specialist seems sure to run another decent race today. Desert Ranger proved he could act on Turf as well as Polytrack when scoring on a very quick surface at Yarmouth and the handicapper could easily have handed him a heftier raise under the circumstances. King Of Macedon was well backed at Ayr on his most recent start and the market should give us an idea as to whether connections believe he'll be quite so effective on quick ground. Incredible Fresh is similarly observed on his handicap debut.
