Verdict
Jedd O'Keeffe's Secret Venue is selected to break his maiden tag at the fourth time of asking after two attempts at six furlongs failed to bring about a success after a promising racecourse debut over today's trip. He shows so much pace over six furlongs that he is possibly using himself too much and not getting home and this drop back by a furlong will suit. Sea Crest was nibbled in the market on debut in a decent York maiden where she raced quite green in the early stages. A half-sister to the decent Cerermonial Jade, she should be capable of picking up a nursery. Red Max has first time blinkers applied and they will need to bring about improvement for him to score while Capo Regime can be expected to benefit for his initial racecourse experience. Market support for the remainder should be noted but Secret Venue is the selection.
