This won’t take much winning but Don't Be Surprised is proving hard to place. False Id is having a first run on Turf for Ron Thompson and has been placing off lower marks on Tapeta. Wolverhampton scorer Queen Mia is 0-5 on Turf and has yet to make the frame so this can go to WITH APPROVAL. Like most of these, Karen Tutty’s gelding has been frustrating to follow but is now a pound lower than his last winning mark and was knocking on the door at Newcastle in the spring. Be Bold was very consistent last year but is likely to find at least one too good again on his reappearance.
