A few of these had decent form as juveniles. Requinto Dawn finished ahead of Billy Dylan, John Kirkup and Chatburn in the Two-Year-Old Trophy at Redcar in October and he didn’t enjoy much luck in-running on his reappearance at Newcastle. It’s interesting that Paul Hanagan partners him rather than less-exposed stablemate Showmethedough. Like the latter, Lord Riddiford is one capable of improvement and a similar comment applies to Little Boy Blue. EXCELLENT TIMES never stopped improving in her first season. The worries are the drop back to 5f and another weight rise but she’s proven on the ground and should give a good account. Savalas won over track and trip last year and also on his reappearance at Wolverhampton so can’t be ignored.
