        Verdict

        Above The Rest has yet to encounter ground this soft and is having a first run since August. Commander Cole has a lengthy absence to overcome but that’s not usually a problem for one from his yard. He was progressive when last seen and William Cox claims a valuable 5lb but going and trip are against sprinter Kimberella and the weights point to SO BELOVED (NAP). David O’Meara also runs the consistent Firmament but Danny Tudhope has chosen his stablemate, who didn’t win last year but ran some cracking races in defeat including when beaten under a length in the Group
