High Curragh can confirm superiority over Fire Up The Band and My Gaucho, while the in-form Inter Vision is respected but may struggle under a penalty. My Gaucho has been given a chance by the handicapper and, considering that he was too speedy for the selection when they met here in May, he should not be underestimated. An each-way move will be interesting. Fire Up The Band is dropping to a very attractive mark and can be placed to good effect. However, he has struggled to hold his form this season and needs everything to go his way. Therefore, we prefer to stick with High Curragh, who has fifth gear of late and top weight may not be enough to anchor him whilst he is in such a fearce mood for racing.
