Halinka is likely to be popular as the sole Roger Varian runner on the card but is not proving easy to win with and may not represent great value in a fairly competitive contest. She's faced by a number of in-form fillies, of whom TOTALLY MAGIC is the preference on the back of a very close second to Acadian Angel in a 7f Doncaster handicap. In decent heart this term, she enjoys the trip and ground and Lewis Edmunds is one of the best apprentices around with his 5lb claim. The Stalking Moon came good last time at Catterick but may just be best suited by some cut in the ground, whilst both Cabal and Rosy Ryan continue to deliver a solid account. Lovely Acclamation has been pretty low-key this term but it's early days and she remains unexposed.
