In depth

Verdict

Lord Aeryn drops down a grade after making the frame at Ripon three weeks ago. He's preferred to stablemate Justonefortheroad, who only just managed to win a lowly seller at Beverley last time. Celtic Sixpence is upped in class on the back of a win at Nottingham while Eutropius has been raised a further 6lb for winning on soft ground here a week ago. Redcar winner Escape To Glory has yet to score over further than 7f and Piceno and Capaill Liath's recent placed efforts also came over a shorter trip. Llanarmon Lad can figure back over a mile, however, and Mysterial has come down the weights but the latter's stable companion AL MUHEER gets the vote. He won this off a 4lb lower mark in 2012 and posted a better effort at Beverley during the week.
