STONIFIC has to give weight away all round but the former Andre Fabre inmate impressed with the manner in which he quickened up to gain a first success for the O'Meara yard a fortnight ago. He remains lightly-raced for a five-year-old, is up a reasonable 4lb and there seems no reason for him to be inconvenienced by the step-up to 1m4f. There are plenty of dangers all the same, of which Mustaaqeem, dropped in grade, makes most appeal as the best of his form when with Sir Michael Stoute reads very well in the context of this contest. Recent efforts of New Society, Be Perfect and Tidal Watch bring the trio, who are preferred in that order, into contention in a competitive handicap.
