        Verdict

        Paddy Power couldn't quite match the speed of Plagiarism at Newcastle in June but the winner has been beaten twice since and Richard Fahey's colt is taken on with POINT OF WOODS. Just caught over 6f at York last time, Ralph Beckett's charge is a speedy sort who shouldn't be inconvenienced by the drop back to the minimum though a low draw is a concern. Muatadel should be thereabouts again but is another drawn in the centre of the track. Men United and Laughton may be best of the rest.
