Dara Mac, Noble Pursuit and Rymers Rascal look to be the principles in the opener and the vote is given to Rymers Rascal. The selection hasn't won for nearly two years but he is on a handy mark at present and he has won over this course and distance. He is eased slightly in grade from his latest run and with conditions to suit he should go well at a price. Dara Mac was a little disappointing last time but he had previously run with great credit behind Parisian Playboy at Redcar. However, he has only ever got his head in front once in 31 attempts and he will need things to drop right as he has to be produced off the pace, so for those reasons he is passed over. Noble Pursuit is another frustrating type but he has ability and is in fair form at present. He is overlooked on this occasion though as his best form is over a shorter trip. Canlis has been a little disappointing of late but he would have chances here on the basis of a solid effort in a similar contest to this at Leicester back in June when he was beaten a neck by Classic Vision. A number of others would also have claims on their best form but in a tough race for punters to predict we will give the nomination to Rymers Rascal.
