Ravenna's hike up the weights may have scuppered her chances of going in again and so the vote goes to the hat-trick seeking Generous Gem ahead of fellow recent winner Doctor Scott and Hypoteneuse. The last-named was well-held on soft ground last time but if he handles today's ground, the quickest that he will have encountered, then he may have a better angle on this race. However, Generous Gem is a filly in form and should go well once again. She pulled miles clear along with the runner-up when winning at York and if turned out quickly then she may take some stopping under her 6lb penalty. Doctor Scott also has a penalty for his recent success but in truth that looked a weak contest and he needs to show that it was no fluke. Go Tech knows how to win and on a fair mark, he should be watched for market support, whilst Moonwalking continues to edge down the weights and should go well. For the winner though, we are happy to return to Generous Gem to complete that hat-trick.
