HUXAAR probably sets the standard and whilst it isn't anything too exciting, a repeat of his recent Beverley second could be enough; Guestofthenation and newcomers Dreamonandon and Peaceful Rule could prove to be the main dangers. Linda Stubbs doesn't have that many horses but what she does have are useful juveniles. With Saxford and Russet Reward in the yard, she should have a good measure of how good Huxaar is. He looked all over the winner at Beverley last time on soft ground until tiring up the hill and back on this flatter track he may take some beating. Guestofthenation ran a fair race on debut at Great Leighs when not getting the best of runs and likely to adopt more positive tactics on this second start he should be on the premises if handling the ground. Peaceful Rule is related to several winners but they were over sprint trips; his fast-ground American pedigree suggests conditions may not be ideal today. Distant Memories is an expensive purchase for the yard and his pedigree is full of winners although he may be more of a three-year-old, whilst Dreamonandon should be monitored closely in the betting on his debut. At a price Madamlily may improve on her first start, however we are happy to stick with Huxaar.
