Verdict

Rheinpark may prove to be the answer to a tricky finale. Mark Johnston's charge put up a number of fair efforts as a juvenile and was well supported for his comeback at Catterick but, having cut out the running, he was worn down in the closing stages. Sure to strip fitter for the outing, the three-year-old should be good enough to get off the mark at this level. Silver Band lost his maiden certificate in a minor Catterick event last term and was far from disgraced in better company subsequently but may just need this but Eastern Blue showed definite signs of promise over course and distance and shouldn't be underestimated while White Cliffs is another to consider if fit for his return.
