Mel Brittain's Trade Secret held on well when landing his maiden over course and distance last month and is one of several that has claims in a competitive classified stakes race where what can only be a tentative vote goes the way of FERRIS WHEEL, who gets the vote ahead of Loveinthesand. Mark Johnston's colt opened his account when justifying short odds on his reappearance on the Fibresand but he should not be inconvenienced by the return to turf and has to be respected in this event. Nigel Tinkler's Belinsky has a lot more to do than when winning a seller at Lingfield when last seen in September and of more interest may be the Michael Dods-trained Durham Express, who is lightly raced but looks to be going the right way. Kevin Ryan's Mark Anthony has improved with each start and has to be considered on his reappearance but a better bet looks to be Paul Cole's Ferris Wheel, who was narrowly beaten by Key Light at Windsor last month and she has an obvious chance of going one better today.
