Verdict
Kingham is our selection in this maiden hurdle with Gimmeabreak, Nikolaiev and Pagan Sky all respected. There is little form to go on here so bets are perhaps best kept to a minimum. Kingham was a good fourth at Hereford last time out behind Mith Hill. He ran with credit that day, jumping well and losing out to rivals with more experience. He will have come on for that run and will appreciate any cut in the ground today. Nikolaiev is likely to go off a short priced favourite for the in-form Henderson stable but the form of his runs so far leaves a lot to be desired and we will be taking him on. Of the others Gimmeabreak and Pagan Sky have chances but our choice is Kingham for a small-stakes win bet.
