SILVER SPINNER shapes as though this longer trip will suit and gets the vote ahead of Prince Of Persia. The Alan King-trained selection has won two of her seven starts and was perhaps not so well suited by dropping back to 2m 3f last time, having won over 2m5f prior to that. Soft ground suits, she remains unexposed and she can take this. Prince Of Persia is back on a handy mark now switched to hurdling once more by David Pipe. He will stay every yard here but the suspicion is that he would prefer better ground to be most effective. Trip and conditions are ideal for Bally Conn, but he will need to improve to score from today's mark, and Super Ross may be a better proposition. Evan Williams is quite sweet on this six-year-old gelding and has been looking forward to stepping him up in trip, so he can take home some prize money. Mister Sher is entitled to finish somewhere near Bally Conn at these weights but the ground is not ideal for him and we'll take Silver Spinner to score.
