Joker's Legacy and INCHIDALY ROCK look the two to concentrate on here with slight preference for the last-named. A penalty makes life tough for Novice's however the selection is expected to cope with the extra weight as he steps up in trip today. A former multiple point-to-point winner over three miles, he beat the subsequent Grade Two winner Junior on his debut before succumbing to Duke Of Miskin at Chepstow over a shorter trip. That form looks solid as well with the third home (who he beat by 13 lengths) running the star Mad Max close since and he can win this before going on to bigger and better things (Albert Bartlett 3 mile race at Cheltenham). One Cool Knight may be interesting; he slipped up on his hurdling debut before the race had started to hot up but he looks sure to improve on his bumper runs given time and this point-to-point winner is expected to appreciate today's longer trip. Gone Cloudy needs to improve, so the other danger to the selection looks to be Jokers Legacy. Tim Vaughan has AP McCoy booked for the ride and they have teamed up well in the past. He made several jumping errors when well held last time behind Bakbenscher at Newbury but is expected to be suited by today's longer trip and the chance to measure his hurdles better. A fair race, but Inchidaly Rock's proven stamina can see him come home in front.
