SEA CLIFF likes it around Southwell and can give his rider the experience of a winner if all the components fit together correctly. Zaffeu and Amron Hill are others capable of playing a strong part, while Mayadeen is thriving on being kept busy and should again run a big race for each-way punters. Amron Hill may have a bit to find with the selection from their last encounter but does have a feasible chance of turning the form around at the weights. His supporters will need to be brave, though, as the gelding is far from consistent and may simply not be good enough. Zaffeu has enjoyed a profitable winter and probably deserves to be carrying top weight in this company. Still, the burden leaves him with it all to do and the concession of 9lb to the selection makes for a tough day at the grindstone. Therefore, it can pay to keep the faith with Sea Cliff, who would hardly be a standard bearer for Jonjo O'Neill and JP MacManus' working relationship. But the five-year-old can still provide the Irishmen with another fun day at the races.
