The vote here goes to Tanterari, who gets the call ahead of Beau Supreme. He may have shown little in two chasing attempts last season but Tanterari, who has already also won three times over hurdles this season, scored nicely on his return to fences last time, and is very hard to get away from in this five-runner affair. Beau Supreme was possibly a little fortunate to get to Spring Lover at Ludlow last time as the winner idled in front, but you could hardly fault his effort, while Barren Lands is back to the mark from which he won at Hereford in November 2002, but he yet to prove he can stay this sort of trip. Tell Tale remains consistent, but at Hunter Chase level, while Miss Mailmit has shown form in novice events but lacks the experience of her rivals. This, once again, returns us to Tanterari, who holds an obvious chance in this race.
