The shortlist here has to include Time To Roam, Pequenita, Downtherefordancin, Royal Prodigy, Brochrua and Blue Nun, with the vote, hesitantly, going to Time To Roam. Where to begin? On the one previous occasion she wore cheekpieces, Pequenita ran well so, if they sweeten her up again, the best of her form gives her claims in this seller. Downtherefordancin could also go well in cheekpieces, as the only time he previously wore them was over too long a trip. Guess what? Time To Roam also wears the same headgear. He folded very tamely in a much better race last time, but a return to the level of form that saw him win at Haydock earlier in the year would see him winning without breaking sweat. Of the others, Fast King won over course and distance from a mark of 97 in December 2002, but recent form is modest, while Herodotus has at least won on the Flat. The best of Royal Prodigy's form gives him a shout and, you've guessed it, he's another first-time cheekpieces. Having won a similar race two runs ago, you should give Brochrua the once over, while Blue Nun drops into this grade for the first time, and has also to be given some consideration following her run behind Manorson over course and distance. Overall, though, we will take a chance, once again, on Time To Roam.
