Great Ovation should take plenty of beating here and he is taken to score at the main expense of Summer Stock and Access Overseas. The selection ran well last time out when third behind Statley Raj at Fontwell and if he can reproduce that run here then that should be good enough to see him home in front. Summer Stock rates the main danger as he ran well on his debut this season, but he was disappointing off this mark last time and he may be a shade high in the weights. Access Overseas put up a fair effort in a better race than this last time and he will be suited by the drop in trip. However, he still has plenty to prove and the best he can hope for is to claim some place money. Lanos failed to complete last time but does have the services of Timmy Murphy here, so he has to be of interest, but we will stick with Great Ovation as our idea of the winner.
