Miss Honey Ryder gave notice of an imminent victory when beaten a neck at Lingfield and duly obliged over this track and trip next time. Crem Fresh, who was over four lengths behind in that latter event, had every chance and looks held despite being better off at the weights. Avorisk Et Perils found 1m5f too short at Fontwell and this is more like her trip but Toodlepip weakened quickly in the closing stages at Doncaster.
