Verdict

Evan Williams complicated matters with two of the four entries. Marble Moon completed a four-timer in minor company on fast going over hurdles before softer ground found him out at Chepstow. He never got into contention on his chasing bow over this course and distance though will have improved for the experience. STILL BELIEVING has won ten races under Rules, shared between hurdles and fences. She made all to land a Class 2 handicap chase easily at Hereford and though up 9lb has won from higher marks in the past so can go in again. Fox Appeal has won eight times though not since April 2017. He's much better handicapped than over hurdles but has failed to take advantage the last twice. Romain De Senam completed a double in Class 2 company just over a year ago and has been racing in much better class than this including in a Grade 3 at Cheltenham won by stable companion Frodon. He could do with a confidence booster and looks the main threat.
