In depth

Verdict

This looks moderate despite several major stables being involved. KHAGE (NAP) took a fierce hold on his hurdling debut at Bangor and was still in the lead when falling at the sixth. He led again at Southwell and stayed on well when headed by the well supported Umbrigado with the remainder a long way behind. That winner is trained by David Pipe, who has the four-year-old Legal History entered here and he'll improve for his debut at Newbury where he only weakened from the last. Le Ligerien makes a quick reappearance after finishing fourth at Wincanton on Saturday where a mistake two out didn't help his cause. He'd run well over this track and trip previously and should get competitive. Arcade Attraction showed the benefit of his opening run with a much better effort at Ludlow though appeared suited by the soft ground.
