There are a couple of Irish raiders in this. Poseidon represents Gordon Elliott and has won three times over hurdles. He was rated 138 when last seen over the smaller obstacles. Charles Byrnes’ WAJAAHA beat City Derby by 10 lengths at Plumpton last month and then won over 1m4f at Dundalk. He may have too much for True Romance, who is rated 5lb higher than Kanukankan and receiving 10lb from that one including riders’ allowances.
