Verdict

Charlie Longsdon can land this with PRAIRIE SPIRIT who is preferred to the likes of Foreign King and Tayarat. The selection arrives here in good form after a convincing win at Hereford last time when he got the better of Amron Hill. He has trip and ground to suit and he should prove tough to beat. Foreign King is back over hurdles after a spell on the flat, but there is a big question mark over his ability to see out this trip and on that basis he is passed over. Tayarat has questions to answer after pulled-up here last time, while High Standard has failed to complete on his last two starts so he is hard to back with confidence. We will stick with Prairie Spirit as the one to beat.
