        Verdict

        Marco Botti has his string in fine fettle at present but pedigree suggests that Marzy will have to wait for future days before winning and that honour could today go to KEEP DANCING, who is preferred to Yanza. There looks to be little to choose between the latter pair. Andrew Balding sent Keep Dancing out to be runner-up on her Lingfield turf debut, before she showed some improvement at Haydock on fast ground later in September. She has not been seen out since then, but she is bred to do well in sprints and comes from a yard in good form, so we'll just give her the nod. Had Jeremy Gask been in better form then it would have been a slide rule decision, because Yanza showed up well in three Bath maidens last summer. All of those were with cut in the ground, and she does need to prove she handles a faster surface. Mac's Power made a pleasing debut at Great Leighs last year and should be able to improve plenty for that. Ideally he would want at least six furlongs and he may not possess the necessary speed. The same comments apply to Alexander Loyalty and we prefer the claims of Keep Dancing.
