Staying is the name of the game here and the one who does that best is Earthmover, who is in fantastic form of late and can win from Bright Approach. There are plenty of winners in the field as you would expect for such a contest, but Earthmover brings with him bags of experience, great form and the ability to act on fast ground. His jumping has improved compared to earlier in his career and he can pick up this valuable prize for Paul Nicholls. Bright Approach looks to be the main danger. Another thorough stayer, he jumps well and goes on the ground, and if the selection is not at his best then this one can take full advantage. Grand old campaigner Macgeorge is another who goes well on the ground and would be a very popular winner, but he might just find those two too good for him on this occasion. Struggles Glory would have a chance on his best form, but he would prefer some cut in the ground.
