Red Jester would not be winning out of turn having found just one too good in each of his last three starts but a 3lb rise for the latest of those efforts at Uttoxeter looks a shade harsh and preference is for SAFE INVESTMENT, who gets the vote with Ours rated the pick of the remainder. The selection was slightly disappointing at Market Rasen last time but earlier form is solid and a reproduction of that should see him go close in this company. Colin Tizzard's Eljay's Boy has been well held in recent starts and of more interest may be James Lambe's Trotsky, who was good value for his win at Cartmel earlier this month but is now 5lbs higher. Mark Rimell's Ours ran better at Bangor last time and has solid claims after that effort but, in the hope that he stays this far, it is Safe Investment that gets the verdict.
