No fewer than 15 runners are set to face the starter for this handicap hurdle and plenty of them have chances including Is It Me, Persian Warrior and Elaala but it is TREATY FLYER that is marginally preferred and gets the vote. Alison Thorpe's mare was not beaten far by Is It Me over course and distance earlier this month and she looks worth siding with to reverse that form having run well in the Summer Hurdle at Market Rasen recently. Elaala won well enough at Hereford last month but a 6lb rise for that success makes this tougher, while Persian Warrior is likely to find this harder than the novices' hurdle that he won at Uttoxeter recently. Pepporoni Pete has seemingly lost his way a bit of late and of more interest may be Alison Thorpe's Dishdasha, who reverts to hurdles off a fair mark having been running over fences of late. A market move for Karky Schultz would be of interest and he is another to consider along with Ferdy Murphy's Pillar of Hercules, who is better than he showed here last time. Gary Moore's Right Stuff is relatively lightly raced and has to be considered but it is Treaty Flyer that gets the verdict in a competitive contest.
