LORDS BRIDGE could hardly manage a win in the point to point field this winter but romped home to land the odds at Perth on Tuesday night and is taken to follow up at the expense of Mad Jack Duncan and Behind The Scene. The selection won a poor race between the flags in the winter but has obviously been improved since joining the Tim Vaughan stable. He won with his head in his chest on Tuesday in a selling handicap and should have enough in hand to win again as long as this race doesn't come too soon. Mad Jack Duncan was a multiple winner between the flags before winning well off a mark of 90 at Uttoxeter last time out. He is up seven pounds in the weights but connections are claiming seven pounds off his back using the in form John Mathias so he has obvious claims. Behind The Scene has been knocking on the door of late finishing second in each of his last two starts. He is only one pound higher in the weights and still looks well treated and therefore he is another to add to the short list. Lords Bridge has no weight on his back and as long as he has no side effects from his Perth win on Tuesday he will be difficult to oppose.
