Verdict

Unpenalised for a narrow win in a similar race last time out DAYTIME DREAMER gets the call in this Amateur Riders' handicap ahead of fellow last time out success stories Regent's Secret and Hurricane Thomas. A winner on his return to the level, in a race where the form ha started to work out, the selection gets to turn out under the same handicap mark and with the top jockey in this sphere booked he should go in again. That said Jim Goldie's Regent's Secret has improved in all three runs on the flat this term and after a five length victory last time can challenge despite a 10lbs rise in the weights. Hurricane Thomas is from a yard very much still in form and after a nice win in a ladies riders race a couple of days ago looks to have claims. Outside this trio it's hard to make a strong case for the rest of the field so Daytime Dreamer can be a daydream winner.
