      Verdict

      There is a chance that RIDLEY DIDLEY is becoming somewhat of a near miss merchant but that condition doesn't look chronic yet so is given another chance in this handicap with Silvanus and Distant Sun likely to give him something to think about. The pick has held his form well since scoring at Nottingham in April and after showing he is still in good heart when going down by less than a length in a slightly better race at York he has a chance of going in this time. Silvanus is also consistent and as he has won twice over course and distance he is a leading player despite a mark rise for being comfortably held last time out. Distant Sun seem to have the edge over stable mate The Bear but still has a bit top prove off this mark while Argentine should feature as on the pick of his old form is looking well treated. It's a competitive race but Ridley Didley is on form and looks the best weighted in the line-up.
