Bus Named Desire won quite easily in the end at Uttoxeter just five days ago but the race did rather look to fall apart and she didn't appear the easiest of rides in the closing stages either. Nevertheless, she's progressing with racing and a prominent showing is anticipated under her 7lb penalty. Shot In The Dark is consistent and will be suited by conditions but preference is for the ex-Irish THE ICE FACTOR who delivered a much-improved display at Hexham last time when beaten just under two lengths, but crucially some thirty lengths clear of the third. Jamie Hamilton is decent value for his claim and can steer him home under favourable conditions. The one that must receive a market check is Cornish Beau, an ordinary Flat handicapper for Mark Tompkins. He's been absent for over 700 days and now has his first run for Dr Richard Newland, for whom he seems a rather strange addition to the yard.
