One for point-to-point purists and a trappy contest into the bargain with seemingly better betting opportunities later on the card. Flash Garden has apparently created a good impression in winning both starts between the flags and much may depend on how he reacts to the hurly-burly of Rules in a field of this size. Keep an eye on him but the choice is DUN FAW GOOD. He landed a couple of points before finishing an excellent third behind Cave Hunter, beaten only a length and a half, at Hexham at the start of May with the rest of the field beaten miles. That rates a strong effort as the winner has gone on to land the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards Challenge Cup at Kelso, beating a field of some note. Carnglave Cat got very tired at Fontwell last time but should do better on the quicker ground and Cold Knight plugged on well to take the runner-up spot behind Drom at Southwell last time. There are also a host of last-time winners on display from the pointing arena and the market should help to sort them out.
