Verdict

Arctic Valley won easily at Worcester on his debut under Rules but is now penalised. Gennady has joined Keith Dalgleish since a fourth at Ayr last October while Flos can only improve on her debut at Uttoxeter, where she started favourite. SOCKS is a half-brother to a winning hurdler and from a yard with a good strike-rate in races of this type. Tom George’s gelding gets the nod ahead of fellow newcomer Took The Lot.
