Columbus, Sully Shuffles and Igloo d'Estruval are the three to catch the eye in the finale and we will side with Columbus. The selection had not won for three years before his recent success at Southwell when defeating The Sister. The emphatic style of that win makes him the one to beat here and with conditions to suit he is taken to score. Sully Shuffles showed a game attitude to defeat Bob¿s Gone at Newcastle last time, but he is not sure to be suited by the step up in trip here and for that reason he is opposed. Igloo d¿Estruval ran well enough to defeat Gazump at Exeter last time, but this is a more difficult race and he does have a penalty for that win so he looks worth taking on. Young American will be suited by the step up in trip and could be interesting as he also has the services of AP McCoy, so it would be no surprise to see him run a big race. However, Columbus was mightily impressive when regaining the winning thread last time and he is put forward as the one to beat.
